Pace

From $175.00

Strength training that works with your running plan, not against it. This program builds strength before your mileage climbs, then tapers alongside your race plan so you’re never choosing between a hard lift and a hard run. It includes exercise movements and patterns specific to runners and is applied via a structured approach to help minimize injury risk as your running intensity and training increase.

  • Use your early weeks to build strength. Initial running weeks are the time to get stronger, so your body is prepared when training demands increase.
  • Lift without sacrificing your key runs. Strength volume and intensity adjust to support your running, not compete with it, so you avoid unnecessary fatigue.
  • Stay strong and stable mile after mile. Single-leg strength and control work builds the capacity your body needs for the repetitive demands of running.
  • Know exactly what to do every week. A clear progression shows you how your training should build, so you get the results you want on race day.
  • Keep your strength through peak weeks. As your running intensity peaks, the program shifts to maintenance and tapers with your race plan, so you reach the start line strong instead of worn down.

What To Expect:

Strength Training Designed To Complement Your Running

Over the course of 12 or 16 weeks, you’ll complete structured strength workouts that progress alongside your running plan. Each phase builds on the last, starting with a strong foundation, progressing into runner-specific strength and power, and gradually tapering as your running volume increases so you can stay strong without adding unnecessary fatigue.

Purpose-Built Strength Training For Runners

Pace focuses on the qualities runners need most, from single-leg strength and calf capacity to power, stability, and force control. Each exercise is selected with the demands of running in mind, giving you the tools to handle your training, reduce your injury risk, and show up for race day strong and ready to perform.

Customer Reviews

  • I loved this program. As an older person who wanted to learn about strength training safely and I don’t like going to gyms this was the perfect match for me and allowed me to gain confidence on my own terms. I wasn’t looking to become a weight lifter but rather build strength and exercise safely and gain knowledge while slowly building up in strength. I now feel stronger and more confident.

  • I have just completed the fundamentals program. I have to admit I was not sure if I could do it, but I did. The program was very clear and thorough. Fundamentals was a great way for me to get my strength journey going.
The best part was that Gabriella was so available to answer any questions I had and she responded quickly. I can’t recommend this program enough.

Yes, absolutely. We intentionally designed Pace to be an offset of Strive for this specific reason as you transition to more running mileage and training. Send us an email at info@athletescorner.co, and we can pause your Strive subscription while you are completing Pace.
